"It's a lot bigger than you might think. Like 30 meters tall and very impressive. Looks more like other things rather than a tear. You will be standing right next to giant cruise ship and gargantuan commercial ship. They dock right next to the memorial."

"Lovely space tucked (hidden) away on the water. It's difficult to know this place exists unless you look at Google (Apple) maps and stumble upon it. You will have to drive past a residential section and then a large shipping area and finally the cruise port before getting to this place. It has a large parking lot and was very quiet and empty when I visited at about 5:30pm on a Wednesday. The park has some benches and is very well-maintained. There were a few people there fishing by the waterline as well. The highlight of the park of course if the tear drop memorial...which is massive and beautiful. It was a gift from Russia in 2006 following the 1993 and 2001 WTC attacks. There is some interesting information about the monument, its history and construction on the official website. I suggest you take a quick look before going. There was one port-a-potty there but not the cleanest place to "go" as most port-a-pottys are."
