"My husband and I were from out of state and visited this church today for the first time. We did N O T feel welcome. There were two gentlemen (who we later realized were deacons) did not even greet us at the door. We were headed to the first set of doors only to realize that it was the auditorium. We had to ask which way to the sanctuary. Next, as the members were coming in they greeted their own “fellow members” and no one said hello to us. (We just got some weird stares). Praise & worship was very uplifting. The sermon was right on point. Dynamic preacher! The Pastor then invited everyone to go to lunch downstairs We asked a very kind young lady (Marsha) where we can sit. She then asked if we were a part of the party with the baby that was christened. We said, “no”. We only came because the preacher said lunch was prepared. This is now the third strike. Ms. Marsha said. “I brought lunch for my family, and pointed to the table where she would be sitting, and further stated, “ I always bring extra just in case we have visitors so you are welcome to join me and my family.“” By then my husband and I were too embarrassed and decided to leave. We stood outside and started looking for a restaurant close in the area. I guess Ms Marsha sensed our disappointment and embarrassment and came outside and again invited us to join her. We explained to her that we did NOT feel welcome. This is also embarrassing and we will N E V E R set foot in that church again. She introduced herself and apologized sincerely on behalf of everyone but the damage was already done. There was a Mexican Restaurant right down the street from the church and my husband and I went there and enjoyed a wonderful meal. You people never know how your BAD or INSENSITIVE ATTITUDE could turn off someone who is struggling or just visiting and in need of some encouragement. Who knows if we were “Jesus who stopped by to visit” and was completely overlooked. Hope the next time a visitor comes to your church that you will treat them better than we were treated. It does not take much to smile and say hello especially to a stranger. The church is not that huge where you will not recognize an unfamiliar face. I hope that you guys read this review and do some training on customer service. Thanks to Ms. Marsha for trying to do some damage control Very sweet and kind lady. Kudos to her but the rest of you need to improve."
"My husband and I use to listen to Pastor DL Mcphall on the radio from Tenafly New Jersey. around 1995, we heard that he was coming to the Kingsboro Temple in Brooklyn to be the Pastor! What a blessed man of God. We went many Sabbath’s and we was blessed by the worship and of cause the word of God! We love This Pastor and church! Stay strong in the Lord."
"Here, you will discover some of the most moving gospel singing in Brooklyn and messengers of the bible. The church has three levels and you should arrive early, because its always packed on Saturdays. After the service, they serve delicious meals. I consider myself, poly-religious, which means I am not religious, but I embrace them all and have a deep appreciation for all."
"The pastor is really cool, and friendly. The music is awesome! People are not afraid to worship here. Parking is a challenge but it's worth it."
