"I would say this is the most unwelcome carousel place we have been to so far. Adults are being asked to pay another ticket to go in with the kid but at the same time adults are not allowed to ride on any of them. Not to mention, I'm surprised that there was nobody making sure the kids are strapped. on the good side, the ride seems to be a bit longer than others."
"Absolutely loved it!!!, just wish it was longer then 3 minutes a ride for $3 a ride but i guess they have a reason why its set up like that. My baby boy didnt wanna get off an leave and cried his eyes out and kicked his legs up from the 5 rides for $13 was over for him. Broke his heart that he had to go thats how much he loved it there...need more value packs for younger kids who love the experience. Also adults are not allowed on the horses which surprised me, i guess us adults just stand or sit on the very few chairs available to us. Its right before you go in to prospect zoo ."
"Located in the Park’s Children’s Corner, this historic Carousel has 53 magnificent horses ride, a lion, a giraffe, a deer and two dragon-pulled chariots. It was carved in 1912 by Charles Carmel. Such a sweet and fun thing to do on any day. Be sure to prepare your little one as there can be some wait times on the weekends but it’s never too long. The ride itself is about 3 mins I would say. With music and lights that creates a magical experience. You can also rent for private events such as birthdays. I believe it’s 475$ Monday thru Friday and then $575 Saturday and Sunday. It’s a little less if you choose not to be a private event. But it’s a great place to have a birthday celebration for any age."
"One of my and my granddaughter’s favorite spots in Prospect Park. This is one of the most affordable pieces of history in the area right next to the ZOO and not far from the Botanic Garden. Open from Spring till Fall."
"If it was up to me, I would say music is a bit loud and it turns a bit too fast, also runs are a quite short. However my toddler loves it ahah! Staff is very nice though and I'm impressed by the conservation done on the carrousel itself, it's in great shape."
