"John S Zimmerman Recreation Park on Morris Avenue in Union Township, is part of the Elizabeth River Parkway, a County park of Union County, which stretches over both Union and Hillside, NJ. This recreational area of the park is the southernmost section of the park, and is a recreational area consisting of a pair of baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, and a couple of walking/hiking paths."
"Update: the developers have moved their fence onto county park land where all the trees were cut down. After speaking with the park’s department the agreement is that the developer will move their fence back to their property line and plant trees for the ones they took down and fix that area. To be honest they should plant a tree for a tree that’s over 20 trees Yes?"
"(UPDATE: There is now a temporary barrier on the Salem entrance) I have never given a one star to anything in my life! But twice this week cars were driving on the walking trail and someone is going to get hurt. The Parks Department Needs to put up a safety barrier on Salem to prevent this from happening."
"A lot of space here"
"No playground for kids, it has 2 baseball fields and ample greenery. Nice view of Elizabeth River and a nearby tributary. Black top parking lot and a Johnny on the spot."
