Reviews
"Parts of the fort is still under construction but still a sight to be seen. Come early before noon because later will have way too many tourists and field trip kids causing a ruckus. Welcome to America."
"It was good to have some shades and ice cream after walking a long time."
"Me and my wife visited here in February 2019 What a lovely place We had only seen this before on films television books But been there in person we will always remember our time here"
"This 11-point star layer fort made of granite today serves as the base for the Statue of Liberty. It no more serves as a fortification and has no military installations today. A small gallery inside the building displays the history of the Statue of Liberty from conceptualization, engineering, construction, funding right up to the commissioning of the sculpture. Also a flight of stairs from inside the fort building takes you up to the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty."
"Well preserved and Well maintained Historical Place.."
