About the Business
Welcome to the Adrienne Adams City Council Office, proudly serving the diverse and vibrant communities of Queens, New York. Located at 165-90 Baisley Boulevard, Queens, NY 11434, our office is dedicated to representing the neighborhoods of Jamaica, South Jamaica, South Ozone Park, Baisley Park, Springfield Gardens (North)-Rochdale Village, and Springfield Gardens (South)-Brookville.
Adrienne Eadie Adams, the esteemed Speaker of the New York City Council, is a trailblazer in her role as the first-ever African American woman to lead the Council. Elected by her peers in January 2022, Speaker Adams heads the most diverse and first women-majority Council in New York City history. Her journey began in November 2017 when she became the first woman to represent District 28, which includes the communities we proudly serve.
Under Speaker Adams' visionary leadership, the Council is committed to addressing long-standing inequities and advancing progressive initiatives. Her efforts have led to significant strides in women’s health, particularly in tackling racial disparities in maternal care and enhancing access to abortion and reproductive healthcare. Notably, the Council has allocated unprecedented municipal funding to ensure direct access to abortion healthcare for those in need.
Speaker Adams is also a staunch advocate for community safety and support for crime victims in underserved areas. She has pioneered a new $5.1 million budget initiative aimed at funding community safety and victim services at the neighborhood level. Furthermore, she has been instrumental in securing funding for New York State’s first four Trauma Recovery Centers.

"Tiffany seems to have a power high. She highlights that she is the director of this location but does not seem to have a sense of direction on how to assist the people of the community properly or practical communication skills. Tyrell was initially working on a case before her employment, “as she clarified), and has been unavailable to speak on a phone call/email for the past few months. Tiffany has taken many messages and has been unable to deliver them. Working with a new employee on a similar matter, Tiffany decided to take over the issue. I’m not entirely sure why she did not take this initiative a few months ago, but today, she handled the office as if it was her own home. She hung up on me several times, decided to yell, cut me off numerous times, and refused to answer appropriate follow-up questions about The situation at hand. I’m not sure if Mrs. Adams oversees the office daily, but I can assure you that the duties of an official office do not include the actions displayed for over six months. On my initial visit to the office (predating Tiffany’s hiring), many community members advised me to walk away and seek other avenues because the office is known to serve their agenda and is not helpful to the people of Rochdale and New York City. Perhaps I should’ve followed their advice"
