"My visit today to this post office with my mother was a breath of fresh air in comparison to the past. From the time we entered in line,customer service was great. I was greeted by Priti who then told me Sam was wrapping up a previous appointment and to wait she'll be right with us. Sam was kind and also gave great customer service. the best customer service I've received since coming to this post office which has had horrible nasty customer service in the past.I've been to this post office 2-3 times. First time, the picture system was" down "and not available in which I don't know why they don't remove it from the usps appointment website because all times I've been there they always turn people away saying it's" down" .I had to go to nearest Walgreens come back and submit and im not driving extra unnecessary costs and false advertisement. Second time, came with my mother to renew appt online of 1130am was there at 1115am with a long line of people ahead ,finally got to my turn at 1140am was told I was late and though walk in hours end at 12pm and I made appointment online ,they will not take my appointment and disregard walk in hours by a very rude, nasty attitude, having young lady with nose ring always chewing gum in which I've forgotten her name . They did not care that we were waiting in line from 1115am earlier than appointment on "walk in days and hours" by no fault of ours do to the long line.I thought her coworker would consider but Caucasian man looked over to her and said no telling her "yeah what time is it 1140 no we are done for today. Then told us" sorry go to a different post office"I'm so glad that we didn't see either of them that and we met Sam and Priti. keep up the great customer service ladies! It makes a difference!"
"So I went to get my passport renewed and to take a photo for my new passport WITH AN APPOINTMENT, and the one Indian worker attended me with such a nasty attitude. She claimed that “unfortunately she could not take my passport picture because the camera system was down. On the other hand, another employee named Traci was very nice and professional about her job."
"USPS CHESNUT STREET UNION, The worst mail service. I haven't much experience with the inside operation so i cannot rate the service but the outside service actual mail delivery by postal carriers is ridiculous. I don't understand how a package that i was very anxious about receiving in time for a family funeral arrived on time but, once the mail man/woman delivered the package i had no access to it. I live in a multi dwelling 4 apartments in each unit. We have regular mailboxes, my name clearly taped to the inside. We also have 2 alternate mailboxes for packages. Because the POST OFFICE CONTINUING TO SEND DIFFERENT PEOPLE EVERYDAY TO DELIVER OUR MAIL YOU WIND UP WITH ANYONE'S MAIL, SOMETIMES MORE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS THAN YOUR OWN. My package was deposited in the package mailbox at my address by the carrier and locked. The key should have then been deposited in my personal mailbox so i could gain access. I guess in between locking the community package box and depositing the key in my personal maibox she forgot my name, did'nt care or her memory wasn't long enough, so she placed the key in anyone's mailbox made no difference to her. I found out the carrier was a female, that's all i know. The maiboxes service two of the complexes, that's about 76 or 78 apartments. She put the key for access in one of the other 75 or 77 apartments mailboxes not mine. I know someone who works at this location and the USPS has assured me i will have my packgage first thing in the morning approximately a few hours before the funeral. She did'nt take the time or seriousness of her job enough to ensure she was leaving access to the right recipient, ME. NOW I HAVE TO FEAR THROUGH THE NIGHT AND ENDURE THE ANXIETY THAT ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS WILL OPEN THEIR MAILBOX, FIND THE KEY, OPEN THE COMMUNITY BOX AND GAIN ACCESS TO MY PACKAGE. I DON'T KNOW THESE PEOPLE, EVERYONE IS BASICALLY VERY PRIVATE. My fear is someone may take my package before the postal carrier can search the boxes to find out through her laziness where she haphazardly left the key. I ordered in enough time to receive the package on time. I should not have been placed under such a STRESS LEVEL BECAUSE OF SHEER STUPIDITY AND LACK OF INTEREST BY THE MAIL CARRIER IN HER JOB. SHE DID'NT CARE WHO SHE DELIVERED MY PACKAGE TO AS LONG AS SHE GOT IT OFF HER TRUCK. TO HER IT'S JUST A JOB!!!! What the POSTAL SERVICE SUPERVISOR OR SUPERVISORS AT THE CHESTNUT STREET, LOCATION IN UNION SHOULD DO IS ASSIGN AT LEAST TWO PERMANENT CARRIERS TO MILL RUN. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF APARTMENTS AT THIS LOCATION. WE ALSO HAVE TO WAIT FOR MAIL SOMEDAYS ALMOST UNTIL 7:00PM. IT'S BEEN RIDICULOUS FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS NOW. WHEN SOME PEOPLE FIND MAIL IN THEIR BOXES THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO THEM THEY THROW IT IN THE GRASS. IT HAPPENS BECAUSE EVERYONE GETS TIRED OF FINDING MAIL IN THEIR BOXES THAT HAS SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME ON IT. JUST PURE FRUSTRATION AND THE POSTAL SERVICES INCOMPETENCE!!!!"
"If I could give this location, a rating of zero, I would. If I could give it a rating of -500 I would. These are single-handedly the rudest people existing in our society. They are not clear they are not understanding they do not explain things. They are exceptionally rude. I don’t know what I did to anybody in this location to experience this, but they truly do not care about the customer experience. They do not care about the people coming into handle services. They only care about giving attitude, rolling their eyes, popping their gum and fixing their wigs. If you’re looking to feel ashamed of yourself for mailing a parcel then this place is perfect for you. Otherwise save yourself the trouble and the time and find another post office to go to."
"Apart from rudeness, unprofessionalism, unnecessary sass and attitude, they keep loosing my packages - four packages in a row had been lost in one month only! How many? Two? Three? Four!!! These packages are non-refundable too! I have paid for the shipping labels, which were not cheap, so it’s not like it is a free service and it is not like I was able to choose the carrier. I am stuck with this office that does our area deliveries and I feel completely hopeless as the staff does not seem to be affected by all these negative reviews by customers. They just keep on keeping on…"
