The congregation is representative of the the community I live in who are warm and caring. It’s a pleasure to attend every Sunday to reinvigorate our spiritual healing to tackle the week ahead."

"The year was 1957. I was 5 years old when I began 1st grade here at St. Paul's Catholic School (now: Infinity Institute). The young Nord family had an apartment on the South side of Ocean Avenue, between Eastern and Van Nostrand. We walked to school without fear. I attended SPCS for two years before subsequently relocating to another town in New Jersey.. A number of teachers were Nuns living on campus with an eye towards disciplined studies. I learned how to read, write, "recite" the rosary, and memorize the catechism, the Apostles Creed, and the Act of Contrition. I still know each line today. I partook in my First Confession and First Communion at Saint Paul's Roman Catholic church across the street (see photo). The only name I remember from those days is Sister Jean Baptiste. My recollections of her bring only fond memories of great compassion and kindness. I also remember the fragrance of Lilacs in Spring. There's no question as to the value added to my young life during those formative years. I understood very little from an intellectual perspective of the Catholic teachings; yet, I'm grateful for the foundation the staff supplied to my young mind. I am now, by GOD'S GREAT GRACE, born anew and under no condemnation for my sin nature. I am not free by sacraments, liturgy, and personal effort; but by my faith in the atoning life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. He is the King of kings, Lord of lords, and Savior to ALL who call upon His name for sweet forgiveness. Trust and obey - for there is no other way. HalleluJAH"
