"We drove up from Indiana to see lady liberty on a Saturday. Unfortunately we didn’t know you had to purchase tickets in advance to get the pedestal and crown tour. The crown tour was not available due to some construction and I wasn’t thrilled that you couldn’t purchase same day tickets to get on the pedestal considering I should have googled all that in advance. But I do know the next trip I take here I will order my crown and pedestal tickets in advance through the approved website. But overall I thought the statue would be bigger. Don’t get me wrong it’s a big statue but I just thought it was bigger in person. It’s very pretty here but is just a little. It busy through out the day."

"Good place to walk and enjoy the ocean breeze. Plenty of birds, and a great view of the Statue of Liberty. She just stood there the whole time with her back turned. Didn’t even turn around to acknowledge my presence. How rude! She is facing the bay to welcome the ships entering the harbor."
