"Beautiful Church and very peaceful right in the middle of the Financial district. We enjoyed the homily also from the lovely Nigerian Priest. We hope to visit again!"
"Our Lady of Victory a lovely Catholic Church. Palpable presence of our Lord veiled in the Holy Eucharist. A peace only the Lord gives and not the world."
"I am the only professional Alto in this church. It is a Diocesan Church. Roman Catholic. Father Murphy, the pastor, gives some of the best sermons you have ever heard in your life!!! This coming Wednesday, June 26th. At 12:45 is a beautiful concert. We have two beautiful Sopranos. I have a gorgeous gorgeous Alto voice. We have a very good tenor... And we have two basses. Come and transport yourself to God,!!!"
"I came upon this Church when I was in the Financial District recently on business. It is a beautiful Church simply but effectively decorated and in the midst of a very busy day I was able to find calm and solitude within the Church. There were about a dozen people in the Church in late afternoon on a weekday; it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. They DID pipe in on very low volume some western Christian chants which added to the atmosphere. I am an Orthodox Christian; we do not have statuary in our Churches, so I found those few that were there a little jarring. BUT you soon realize that you are in a House of God and that you are there in His presence, in a place of refuge and calm. Really a wonderful experience, unexpectedly finding this place in the heart of the FiDi. I left in a much better state of mind than when I entered. Thanks."
"This venerated place has been my anchor through the many storms that every person faces on the path of life. It's place in my life was cemented when in 1982 I had the Christening of my first child preformed and celebrated at this safe harbor of the financial district. It has occupied that special place of hope and safety all these years and I hope that others will find the same consolation that was given to me at this wonderful unassuming landmark of Christianity."
