Elsewhere

"We usually plan our trips, but we decided to use Elsewhere to maximize our schedule in Argentina. The experience was incredible, we had one of the best trips of our lives thanks to Julieta from Elsewhere. We had multiple virtual meetings with her where she presented us multiple options and got our feedback, through that process she tailored the trip to our needs (including free time at every city/town). She was in charge of the reservations for all internal flights in Argentina. She also took care of all transfers from the airport to hotels, hotel reservations, guided tours, dinner reservations (including Christmas day/New Years eve). Some of the activities we did: in Buenos Aires a private city guided tour (highly recommended- special thanks to our tour guide Enrique LaPeña and Ezequiel the driver) and tango dinner show at La Ventana. In Bariloche we visited Isla Victoria, kayaks in Nahuel Huapi, hike to Cerro Campanario (wonderfull views). Julieta coordinated for us dinner with a local family on December 24 (special thanks to Luis and his family, thank you for such a special dinner). In El Calafate we went to Perito Moreno Glacier, and to 4x4 guided tours to the caves with the company Patagonia Profunda, shout-out to our tour guide Leon (both highly recommended) where we had great lunch with amazing views. We finished our Trip with hikes to Laguna Capri and Laguna Los Tres at the Chalten Town with our Private Guide Marcelo (the best). All the people in charge of the tours and the drivers were extremely professional. The agency was also available 24 hours in case you needed them, but we really never had any problem and everything goes as planned. Gracias Julieta and the entire team."

"Our family had an incredible trip to Scotland! We experienced the Highlands, Isle of Skye, Inverness, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. George and Steven Lindsay were very attentive and so much fun to meet on the ground there as well. They even went above and beyond to find tickets to a Celtic game and escort us to the stadium on match day! It was an easy process to communicate with our guides in Scotland via the Elsewhere site and gave me a lot of reassurance about our hotels, rental car, routes, and plans. Checking in at each hotel was a breeze! I'm so grateful for our magical experience and feel like we've made new friends to visit again in the future!"

They were available if we had questions. Every food tasting, wine tasting, and activity was authentic. We honestly couldn’t have planned this trip without them. "Elsewhere made the entire trip incredibly stress free and the whole experience so worth while! We got to see and do everything we wanted which also consistently having access to guides, so we were never short of things to do or recommendations. "We just returned from our ( just shy of) 3 week trip to South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. A huge thank you to Natalee for planning a spectacular trip!! We found Elsewhere through the Lonely Planet site and were a little hesitant when we began. We are not “ group” travelers and were looking for a more personalized trip.We both are in our sixties and found all the activities to be well within our comfort zone. Natalee was terrific. We gave her a rough outline of things we wanted to see and do, and through several video calls and texts we were able to craft a wonderful itinerary. Natalee really listened to us and offered wonderful advice. Having “ground support” was an added bonus ,especially when an unexpected health concern on day 5 caused us to reroute a big portion of our trip. Natalee handled it like a pro and was able to shift our reservations. All connections and transfers were on time and professionally staffed. The last bonus was getting to meet her at our last hotel stop. Natalee was as lovely in person as she was on the phone. I would not hesitate to use Elsewhere again."
