Our Beliefs and Worship Services

Understanding Our Temples

For Latter-day Saints, temples are sacred spaces distinct from regular church buildings. Within these walls, members receive special teachings and make eternal covenants with God. Temples are where we strengthen family bonds, believing that families can be eternal. Marriages performed in the temple are meant to last beyond this life, and sacred ordinances can be performed on behalf of ancestors, allowing them to receive blessings if they accept this service.
