Newark City Sanitation Administration

"I live on peck ave in newark honestly its been two weeks our cardboard has been outside scattered on the streets and no sign of picking up the garbage they had bulk garbage come out and they still disregarded the boxes street looks a mess looks like there going to have to have a private company come get the trash out here and foward the bills to the city even then they collect regualr garbage the guys leave big messes they need a supervisor behind them cant wait till the next city meeting"

"The absolute worst place to live. The trucks make such a mess when they come dropping garbage all over the street. The “stench” is a killer. The trucks always leaked some waste water on the street making it smell more.. plus they leave the garbage can in the middle of the street when their not throwing them on the side walk… they hire people that don’t care.. Management seems to not care as well… you can complain nothing gets done.. Newark residents gets treated less than human…"

"The City of Newark sanitation should do a better job with the sanitation department, the workers are the worst when it comes to picking up the trash leaving all the rest on the street and trash cans full of debris as well, and not caring about it. Someone has to do the job right! where do our taxes go? They do wherever they want to with no supervisor and no one cares period!"

"There are too many days when a worker decides they aren't picking up my garbage. Today is one of them. I yelled out my window to ask him why he left it and he just looked back and kept walking. It's always the same guy on my block and his attitude it terrible. When the inspector comes and sees iIT'S ACTUALLY TRASH, he should then take it, and penalize the people who aren't doing their jobs."

"I have to constantly call after pick up to have them come back and pick up Park Avenues recyclables. It shouldn't be my responsibility to call. When I do call they say they will let them know and they STILL don't come out. Newark we can do better. (These pictures are my neighbors and mine at 5:03pm the day of Cardboard recycling)"
