Prudential Center 25 Lafayette Street, Newark, NJ 07102

"A group of five of us went with tickets for premium "luxury" box seats and a prepaid parking spot. The cost of that is $2000. For the top tier price of the suite and the parking spot, we expected a breezy entrance and relaxed experience. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite from start to finish. First, we sat in uor car for probably at least 20 minutes just to enter the parking garage because the entrance is literally one lane and there is ONE guy in there scanning tickets, giving directions, and directing parking all by himself. We didn't even get a real parking spot, but were directed to a random area next to a traffic barrier where any car coming round the bend could hit us. To get in to the arena was chaotic. The entrance from the parking garage is TINY and a large crowd of people were entering all at once. There were several staff members standing around, but nobody was really directing. At one point, my 4yo son was left on one side of the metal detectors while all of us adults were on the other. The person scanning the tickets kept asking is who was entering because there were so many people there and he couldn't hear us or see all of us. It was just hectic and stressful. We were late for the start of the show because of the parking and entrance issues, so we tried to hurry to our suite, but we were stopped about three times by staff at various points to ask for our tickets, which delayed us more because one time the group member with our tickets went to the bathroom. They were out of the food my son and I wanted at the concession stand and what we ended up getting was basic and beginning to taste stale. It was, of course, a small fortune. When the show was over, my husband took our son to the bathroom. The show had ended and not even 7 minutes later, workers hurried in and essentially began forcing us to leave the suite. We were still eating the food our suite paid for while waiting for our party and the workers were taking it away and throwing it in the garbage. The show itself was fun. Prudential Center was really awful for what people pay for the box seats/suites. I would expect this treatment for nosebleed seats. They should hire another parking person in the garage, train their entrance people better, and give bracelets for special sections. As it stands now, for thousands of dollars, you, too, can experience every hassle of entering the arena and then be shoved out at the end."

"The Prudential Center is an amazing multipurpose arena based in Newark, New Jersey. Opened in 2007, it serves as the home of the New Jersey Devils of the NHL and hosts a multitude of concerts, live productions and even UFC events. In January of 2024, I brought and treated myself and my wife for a visit to the Prudential Center to attend the “Disney On Ice:Find Your Hero.” Both my wife and I highly enjoyed watching the show at the Prudential Center!!! The Disney On Ice is a captivating ice show featuring ice skaters playing the roles of Disney characters in performances derived from Disney films. My wife and I were absolutely impressed with the awesome performance of the ice skaters and were in awe of the dazzling light, sound effects and the mesmerizing music featured throughout the show!!! We found our seats at Prudential Center to be quite comfortable, loved the Center’s acoustics and the great quality view that we experienced while watching the show. We highly recommend for everyone to attend and watch the “Disney On Ice” at this wonderful performance entertainment venue!!!"

"Went to the devils game with a large group of people. I must say this is one of the better venues to go to. They have the best food compared to any other venue that I have been to. I must say yes like every other venue it is expensive food but at least it was good."

"Aside from the over priced $35 event parking which is a ripoff! Went to see the Devils win on their home turf.. they did not disappoint at all! It’s a clean event center, easy enough to navigate. I wish these centers were built outside of cities so the traffic wouldn’t be so crazy when you leave. I’d have to say Hershey pa has done that right. If only they had a hockey team lol. Any how, great center!"

"Attending Disney On Ice was an absolute delight! My daughter had an incredible time and was thoroughly captivated by all the beloved characters. The show itself was fantastic, offering a magical experience for the whole family. However, I must note that while the overall experience was wonderful, the prices of the snacks available were quite steep in comparison to the quantity offered. Despite this, the enchanting performance and my daughter's joy made it a truly memorable event that we'll cherish."
