"Had our legal wedding here and would should I say… It went very smoothly! People are super nice and helpful, everything is very organized and not too crowded. It might take some time till it’s your turn, but that’s to be expected. When entering the building they will usually already see some form of ID and your appointment reservation. First, you’ll pass some security check. Then you’ll head to information, present ID and your reservation number. Then you’ll receive a number such as A095 or C024. This number will be called in the next 10-30 minutes. One useful hint: the maiden name, i.e. of your mother, will be written on the marriage license, so don’t worry! I attached a picture of what to do outside of the city clerks office when you want the apostile. After getting your marriage certificate, head to information (even though signs tell you not to). She will give you all the necessary information."
"A timeless New York tradition, this process offers a blend of romance and bureaucracy. The efficient staff and Art Deco surroundings create a uniquely New York moment, perfect for those seeking a no-frills yet memorable start to their married life. "

Arrive early and avoid long waits. Bring a bottle of water and small snack - there are no vending machines inside the building. But wait, what's a wedding without capturing those precious moments? Don't worry, we've got you covered! Book me as your photographer to ensure every smile, every tear, and every joyous moment is preserved for eternity. @leticiasouzaphoto Let's make your dream wedding a reality in the heart of New York City!"
"The City Clerk Office is a straightforward place to have your civil ceremony. They strictly follow the rules and, since Covid, only allow the couple and one witness during the ceremony. If you want to have a photographer, they can act as the witness, but no extra person is permitted. The inside of the office is not particularly special, but there are plenty of beautiful spots outside to take some stunning engagement or wedding photos."
