"Don't even bother filing a small claims case in this place, no justice happening in this court. They specialize in postponing multiple times, until you are dismissed. If you don't live in NYC, they don't care. No technology here, no remote court. Just tons of wasted time and tons of money to get back to NYC. Even came on my birthday the first time thinking my case would be heard like we have justice in America. I'm suing the city for unpaid wages on a written job offer and the judges won't even listen to your case much less see the evidence even when you follow the law to a t with NOC and all. They ask you to step outside and settle or talk to arbitrators. The city is unwilling and their attorneys are unable to even offer you a dollar. It's sad to see a place of justice be a sham. They succeeded in one thing.l, they made this guy lose his faith in the American judicial system. There is no justice. Just corporations and bureaucracies that always win no matter what."
"Law firm Rubin and Rotham run this here alleged Civil Court. Rubin amd Rothman exploit low income minority groups. They use illegal practices to push papers through the NYC civil court and abuse power."
"Watch out, after the pandemic, when people lost their jobs, Homes ,had hardly any food to eat, trying their best to make ends meet. The credit card companies sells your unpaid bills to a third party and they are now sending people to serve you with a summons to appear in court. For a debt settlement. Who has money? I used all my savings trying to stay afloat. SMH"
"Court building was well managed. The security processing upon entry took only several minutes. The building staff directed me to where I needed to go, and helped me with my issue. I will happily return to this court for all my future court-related matters."
"Needed to file a ffg firm with the court, went to the window. Explain why I was there to fill out form and file it with the court. The lady at the window was very helpful and gave me the form to fill out. It was that easy and I was given a number to check up on the status once the judge approves my form and the reason for not being available. Very smooth process and I really appreciated the clerk at the window who assisted me."
