"Visiting the 9/11 Memorial was a deeply moving experience. The twin reflecting pools, with the names of the victims inscribed around them, are a powerful tribute to those who lost their lives. The design of the memorial evokes a sense of loss and remembrance, creating a space for quiet reflection. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to go inside the museum, which I imagine would have provided even more insight and context. Despite that, the outdoor memorial alone is a poignant and important place to visit, honoring the memory of that tragic day."

"Having visited Ground Zero previously on a trip to NY and done a walking tour, we decided to visit the museum this time. We booked a time slot and managed to get in early. It's definitely worth a visit. Very interesting and extremely moving emotionally. Spend over 2 hours there so allow yourself plenty of time to take it all in."

I was on my way to the airport in Atlanta, heading to a meeting in San Francisco, when the events unfolded. Like countless others, I was glued to my television for the next several days. This memorial and museum offer a comprehensive representation of what occurred, detailing the events minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day. I strongly recommend planning to spend at least three hours here to fully absorb everything. Allow yourself to feel and express your emotions freely. As a 56-year-old man, I found myself weeping at times, overwhelmed by the gravity of the tragedy. I plan to return in the future to capture and digest the things I missed during this visit. When you enter the section with explicit pictures and graphic details, let yourself go. Don’t bottle up your emotions. This experience is deeply moving and worth every moment."

"So much more than we ever expected. It was a popping spot so we were happy we purchased our tickets online so we were able to go to a different line that allowed us to pass through security and be one our way rather quickly. My daughters and I took the audio tour so we could walk around at our own pace. It took approximately an hour and a half to get through the tour. A beautiful memorial to all the hero's, human and canine. Pictures do not tell my story, and neither does this post. It is a MUST SEE!"

"During our recent trip to New York, my son's favorite city to explore, he wanted to see the 9/11 Museum. I can honestly say it was well worth a visit. Just so you know, the tribute of the museum toward the events of 9/11 was potent and moving in its putting into perspective a historical viewpoint, as much as a very personal one. He was involved the whole time and found it very interesting and poignant. Displays of artifacts, multimedia, and personal stories expressed the scale of the tragedy and the resiliency of the human spirit. It is an experience neither he nor I will ever forget, and this museum must be on the list of places to visit if one is to trace this moment in history."
