Located in the vibrant SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, the Ronald Feldman Gallery has been a pioneering force in the world of contemporary art since its establishment in 1971. Situated at 31 Mercer Street, the gallery is renowned for its diverse and thought-provoking exhibitions that span a wide range of mediums including performance, photography, new media, film, painting, drawing, and sculpture.

The gallery has a rich history of showcasing artists who push boundaries and explore complex themes. Notable exhibitions have included the ecology-minded works of Brandon Ballengée, which poignantly capture what we’ve lost, and the uniquely wry, feminist-tinged creations of Ida Applebroog, an artist whose work defied categorization. The gallery has also proudly hosted Pepon Osório’s first museum survey in 30 years, offering a moving exploration of radical intimacy.

Ronald Feldman, the visionary art gallerist who founded the gallery, was celebrated for his keen eye for politically charged art and his commitment to fostering groundbreaking creativity. Although he passed away at the age of 84, his legacy continues to inspire and shape the gallery's mission.

Visitors are welcome to explore our exhibitions during our viewing hours, which are Tuesday through Thursday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm for any inquiries or appointments.
