"My children grew up going to Saint Mary Church .They did all of there sacrament there and I was a teacher there. I love being a member of this Church. Thank you Father Andrew ,Sister Mary Ellen , Father Bob. Father O' Neal God bless you all."
"The lady I spoke to twice over the phone was very rude and judgmental over the phone when asking about doing a funeral with my grandfather ashes present. During this difficult time you would think people in the church will have more compassion and empathy for you, but no. When I said he died in another state but wanted to do a mass in New York she didn’t want to do anything with me but the funeral home when we already have his ashes. I pleaded with her how we didn’t know what to do and were not in the mind state to see if a mass funeral will help us schedule a New York mass. And she said how her being a catholic she expected all Catholics to know what to do. When I told her we wanted to place his ashes in st Raymond’s with his mother and we need at least showing he had a mass funeral we can place him there. And I was little lost on what service we should do. She told me “ go back and talk to the family” making me feel like I’m not his family. She wanted to only to talk to the funeral home in Massachusetts to get information on my grandfather such as his name day he passed birthday. Why can’t she let me tell her that info? She did not want to work anything with me even the funeral home was confused on why could they not speak to me when I already have his ashes. This lady was very rude and and not empathetic. Even my mom called cuz I was heartbroken on how she talked to me. My mom called and asked for her name. She said to my mom what do you mean what’s my name you called me? No we called the church. She was very very rude. If you work for a church you need to be more compassionate and caring. Not judgmental and rude and nasty to people"
"This is a great place for spiritual development and growth. English and Spanish services. Great community for fellowship. Grew up going here as well as several other churches in the neighborhood."
