"I have been to a lot of shows and have to say, Brooklyn Steel was the best venue. The Tinariwen concert was the best there. There is a great space between the stage and crowd, the security was professional and was on top of their game. The ticket booth attendants were so nice, attentive and professional as well. I did not interact with the bartenders but my friends did and it seemed to be running very smoothly. The temperature in the place was good for a large crowd indoors. So well managed from my perspective. The one thing I would mention is a lack of seating for people with issues standing. If standing is a problem for you, this might not be the best place to see a show. In truth, I just don’t know the seating situation."

"love that the venue has a second floor and an elevated area toward the back. free water is also readily available and tons of bathroom stalls so the wait is never long. a great spot to catch your favorite live bands, and my favorite disco ball in nyc!"

"I’ve seen two shows here and would say the quality of the venue is a bit overpriced but it’s a big venue with plenty of standing room, bars, and restrooms. The only accessible seating is small but has a great view of the stage. Sound quality is solid, but usually too loud as if it were mixed for outdoors. One of the few NYC venues that can admit hundreds if not a thousand ppl. Great talent curation tho"

"Went to this venue to see KREAM. Great tech house set. Large space that allows plenty of room for dancing. I enjoyed my time here. Coat check was a very nice option to have, first time ever visiting a venue and I didn’t have to wear my coat or jacket. Employees and staff are very friendly."
