Welcome to the Islamic Center at New York University, a vibrant mosque and place of worship located at the NYU Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life, 238 Thompson Street, 4th Floor, Manhattan, New York. As a cornerstone of the NYU community, we strive to embody what community should feel like, offering a welcoming space for spiritual growth, community engagement, and interfaith dialogue.
We invite everyone to join us in our diverse range of events and activities. However, please note that per New York University policy, all non-NYU guests, including alumni and former faculty or staff, must request access to enter any NYU building. To ensure a smooth visit, please submit our Building Access Form before arriving. This form must include your full first and last name as it appears on your ID. After submission, a confirmation email will be sent, which may take up to one day. Please plan accordingly, as on-the-spot processing cannot be guaranteed.
Upon arrival, all visitors are required to present a physical, government-issued photo ID. The name on your ID must match the name used on the form. Digital copies or photos of IDs will not be accepted, and non-compliance will result in denied entry without exceptions.
