The liturgy that is reverent and traditional and the preaching is piercing and theologically deep. Many ministries for students, young professionals, and families, including the Thomistic Institute, ministry to the homeless, and the NYU Catholic Center."

"The Dominican priests are the smartest and friendliest in NYC. St. Joeseph's interior is minimal and unusual with regard to Catholic design (this is due to a past decision that is difficult to reverse). The chorus and organist is the best anywhere, total transformational and the homilies without a doubt brilliant, relevant and enlightening."

"If you are traveling to New York then you MUST stop by Sunday at 9am or 6pm for a service. Feel free to sit upstairs if you aren't religious and would rather not participate and just listen. The music is absolutely amazing. Features a chorus of professional-level talent with full accompaniment. The service is only 1 hour long. I highly recommend it to anyone no matter their faith."

"St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich Village is a great old Greek Revival style structure built in 1833. One of the older churches in the City, it is not overly ornate, but is pretty and worth having a look. If you like old churches this is one to visit with out crowds."
