"I visited and asked if I could drop off old fire extinguishers because they cannot be tossed into the trash. A few days after that encounter, I packed the extinguishers which both weighed about 20lbs total and walked to this fire station. They initially were going to take it until one guy suddenly came to the door and said no and was so rude about it. They didn’t take the extinguishers from me and I had to carry them back home. Now I have no idea what to do with them and wasted my time trying to do the right thing. NYC's finest."
