"I went there as a french tourist (girl) wanting to play soccer. I was visiting the Highline when I saw this park and directly told my mom I wanted to play there. The soccer field is not very big but it's good. People are so nice. I played with a 14yo guy who was there with his school and a kind young man with an Argentinian Jersey with whom I juggled for 40 minutes. There are bathrooms near the park. When I was there, there was a lot of teenagers here with their school so it was a bit crowded"

"Used to be a terribly surfaced field, had soccer tryouts here years ago and had cut up knees from the roughness of the turf. They resurfaced it this past summer and it seems pretty nice. Good location."
"THE SOCCER FIELD IS CONNECTED TO CHELSEA PARK BUT THE PEOPLE ON THE SOCCER FIELD IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE REST OF THE PARK, THEY HAVE FITTNESS TRAINING ON THAT FIELD, THEY PLAY FOOTBALL, RUGBY, KIDS GET TRAINED ON THAT FIELD, YOU RUN TRACK"
