Reviews
"I loved going to this offshoot of MoMA, the exhibits were well curated and placards well written! My favorite was the loom artist. I also loved the courtyard and cafe on site. Could definitely kill some time at the cafe sitting and appreciating"
"A small art gallery in old building, loved the run down feel of whole area. Squeaks on wooden floor and graffiti on stair cases. Enjoyed their collection of arts somewhat experimental works there. Recommended."
"I love going here for their summer warm ups and other events. Such a good warm welcoming vibe. Art is pretty subjective, but I really enjoy what they show as it is generally interesting."
"This museum consistently hosts new art exhibitions that marvel at the imagination of artists. Besides the art pieces on display, the museum itself is a work of art. If you have the opportunity to visit, make sure to check out their well-preserved, historic boiler room underground, as well as the bricks adorned with graffiti and detailed designs. These unexpected details add delightful surprises to the visit."
"This is an amazing museum, and easy to get to from Manhattan. I highly recommend visiting! I was there for a book launch of a monograph on the work of post minimalist sculptor Richard Nonas. Then I saw the James Turrell exhibit as well as the installation of artist Leslie Martinez. Then I visited the 1902 historic boiler room which includes installations by Sol LeWitt, Matt Mullican and Saul Melman."
