"I tried to open an account at the Santander Bank on Kings Highway and Coney Island Ave. location and arrived a half an hour before the bank closed and none of the bankers would help me because they said it would take too long to help me. I feel they were tired and just wanted to be done for the day. I found a different bank because of this. I was not impressed with the work ethic of the bankers at this location."

"Horrible service! AVOID banker Ruslana Korostynska!!! I called the branch to make an appointment, but was advised to schedule it online instead as that’s the best way to secure an appointment. I did exactly as advised. I arrived at the branch a few minutes prior to my 12pm appointment. I was greeted and told to wait for the banker. I patiently waited for 15 minutes, and not knowing how much longer I need to wait. I asked another banker how much longer. He replied saying it will be quick. I patiently waited for another few minutes and finally Ms. Korostynska approached me. The first thing she said was what time was your appointment. I replied saying 12pm, and I have waited for more than 15 minutes already. I thought maybe she would apologize for keeping me wait and thank me for being so patient, instead she said, well, it has ONLY been 15 minutes. I was so annoyed at her response. I asked her what she meant by “it has only been 15 minutes”. She didn’t respond. I told her that she might not necessarily value my time or another customer’s time, but 15 minutes mean a lot. She started giving me attitude and told me not to talk to her that way. I was like, wait a minute, don’t try to make me the bad person for your poor attitude. I asked to speak to her manger. When she walked away she rolled her eyes at me. What the heck! The manager came and I told him exactly what happened. He said she was with another customer with the same appointment time. I told him that’s not my issue if they try to fit multiple appointments in the same time slot. I told him that his staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. It’s absolutely unacceptable to treat a potential customer like that. I came to give them my business. I didn’t come to be treated like nobody. If they don’t value my business I can always go elsewhere. Santander it not the only bank out there. Stay away! Go where you are valued instead!"
