"Banker turned me down, saying opening a new account would cost him 1 hour minimum and he would not accept me unless I made an appointment at least one day ahead. I understand Wells Fargo is understaffed and run badly in NYC, but I never anticipated such outright refusal to accept a new client. Worst bank I ever experienced, period."

"I went the this branch two times trying to open an account. The first time they told me that I have to make an appointment first online. I made an appointment for the second time, and when I arrived there was no banker there! What’s the point of making an appointment if the banker is going to ghost me? This bank does not value their customer and has numerous scandals, I am closing my account and transferring to another bank."

"When I entered the bank panic stricken after having my account scammed at home., Gabby immediately recognized my distress and tried to calm me down in a number of different ways. She offered me water, told me everything would be resolved, and offered to help me in anyway possible. I found Gabby to be professional, caring and very assuring. She seems like a wonderful employee. I also worked with Carl Simms to resolve this issue, and he worked with me for at least an hour and a half making all the necessary phone calls. He resolved as many issues as he could for me, and by the time I left I felt relatively sure that I was safe and that my account had been locked thanks to his intervention. This morning when my phone rang, I was extremely grateful to hear Carl’s voice calling to see if I was fine after Yesterdays distressing episode. Your bank has two incredible employees and the third one who is sitting with me now to help me write this since I would not be able to manipulate your website. His name is Andrew Paniagua. "The tellers and other staff are good.the managers are more interested in giving lectures on NY state notary law or other inane technicalities rather than actually helping you with what you need. A simple and polite “you need an appointment to clarify these details” would suffice rather than an exasperated recitation of reasons why they CAN’T help. There appears to be a massive failure of communication between various departments. Wells Fargo deserves their reputation entirely."

"went there got up in line and when it was my bfs turn, he literally just asked for a direct deposit form for his job and teller told him to go sit. line keeps getting longer, my bf had to work at 4. He was there waiting for a whole 20 mins for a DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM. He went in line again cos he's gonna be late, asked the teller AGAIN, but was told to sit, AGAIN. I mean, wow. In other banks you can just print direct deposit form through the app but wells fargo cant so he had to go to the bank and ask the teller and this. What inconvenience and what incompetent staff you have wasting other ppls time."
