"The only way to get in touch with this branch is either in person or through the 1888 number (thats also a maybe). They never pick up phone. Anything other than your account balance, good luck trying to talk to a human being"

"Came here a couple weeks ago to get a cashier’s check and the female teller with the blonde hair said I would need my chase debit card. She said that not even my driver‘s license or passport could be used to prove my identity in order to withdraw my own money!! I then went to a different branch, and when the teller there looked into my account she saw that I only had a savings account, hence I would never have received a debit card since that’s only for checking accounts. I was then able to get my cashiers check using my driver’s license and a verification prompt through my cell phone. The teller at the ditmars location did not even bother to look into my account or try to use a different method to verify my identity. If it’s not already, it should be illegal to deny people their money when they present valid government ID. Horrible service at this location if not downright illegal, and just another reason why big banks have a bad reputation nowadays"

"Go to another branch. This place is mismanaged. - They did not open up my business account properly, it took 3 trips to rectify - The sales person for business loans assured me a call back from correct contacts and I never got a reach out - Any phone appointment I've tried gets flat out ignored even with follow up e-mails for confirmation. What a waste of time! Follow up - we ended up sorting everything out and a few months later the staff even followed up with me to remind me to activate a credit card. So I'm improving the review from 1 star to 3 stars."

"Warning: Do not leave any bags unattended not even for a few seconds and be aware of your surroundings while using the ATM. Place your shopping bag(s) between your legs while using the ATM or try to avoid going if you're carrying bag(s). I went to this branch on 3/4/24 at around 12:30 p.m. to make a quick deposit and the machine could not read the bills. I've encountered this problem here before. I tried a couple times and it still wouldn't accept the bills. Someone snatched my bag of groceries 15-30 seconds before I realized my bag was missing. By the time I went to go after the thief he or she was gone. Apparently there are thieves walking in and out of that branch. This branch needs to have security during business hours."

"Customer service representative is very rude and unexpected behavior shown today. When I asked her I needed to speak with customer service about my account, she didn’t want to listen and behaved very rudely with me and she told me to go to the counter. She always looks very anxious."
