"This is by far the worst branch I’ve ever been to. The tellers are incredibly unhelpful and make everything a fiasco. If you’re local, please go to the branch on 70 and Broadway and ask for Anthony- he’s incredible!"
"One of the worst experiences I had is in this location. Very bad service."
"The manager was awful. He was very rude and served me ultimatums instead of trying to help me understand my options, as I was trying to close a dormant account. When I arrived, there were no customers waiting, but he instantly made me feel unwelcome. I called the Wells Fargo customer service line and spoke with a banker who told me that there was no reason I wouldn’t be able to close my account at the branch, which the manager claimed he couldn’t do. To the manager: Your customers deserve better, you disrespectful jerk. I recommend diet and exercise so it’s easier to get off your butt and actually help. ✌️ Edit: Went to the branch on Broadway off 70th street and they were able to help me close my account within minutes. If you have to bank with Wells Fargo on the upper west side, I strongly recommend taking the extra time to visit that branch instead. The manager at this branch is utterly incompetent."
"I've called at many different times on different days. They never pick up their phone to talk to customers. When I end up going there are no lines and yet they still refuse to pick up the phone for customers. Extremely annoying, maybe it is just inconsiderate bankers and not the fault of tellers ignoring customers? This isn't an isolated issue I've had it for 5-6 years as a customer. Be it calling early, mid, or late in the week, calling early morning, late in the day, mid-morning somehow they are always busy but when I get there only one of bankers is busy. They are nice when you get there but I shouldn't have to walk there given how far it is from me to ask a 2 minute question because they ignore phone calls to the main line. I'm seriously considering switching banks (after 20 years) to a bank I can reach the local branch of."
"Wells Fargo is great and the teller here is very nice but that’s the problem… there’s only one ever here. Waiting 30 min every time I come to deposit cash is just absurd. Please for the love of God higher more tellers."
