"My parents have been members of Clifton Savings for 42 years. When it changed to Kearny Bank, the customer service went down the drain. Recently my father went in to get a form notarized. He has been doing this for decades as a customer of that bank. This time a rude notary told him, even though he had proper forms and ID, they would not notarize the form because it made them "uncomfortable". We reached out to the escrow company to make sure we didnt do anything wrong and they said the form was in order. My father got the form notarized elsewhere with no questions or issues. We are baffled on why an 80 year old man who has been a customer for 42 years would be told that asking for a notary stamp would make someone there "uncomfortable". But I think we know why...."
