Reviews
"This bank is terrible. There’s always more people hanging out then working. I’ll never understand why there’s only one teller working on a Wednesday afternoon at 1pm. It’s ridiculous"
"Made an appointment to open 2 bank accounts and the Associate, Alisson C, was nice but utterly inconsiderate. How could she be both? I told her I wanted to put $15k+ in one account and set up Dir Deposit in the other, and they would never be touched until I closed them. She insisted I watched a video on Overdraft, which was completely irrelevant, and also insisted I go over many details that were a waste of time. Just have me sign the paper that I agree to all the conditions. Finally I asked for the manager and she, too, although nice, insisted I had to listen to the drivel, unnecessary details and irrelevant considerations. I went elsewhere. For a bank that pretends it is engaged (at least at this location) in "Wealth Management" -- at least that is what the front inner door says, they act like have to treat you like a 5th grader."
"Ms Yasmin dilsa was so helpful and professional. And was attentive to all entering the bank. She made my situation an easy task. She made sure each person was greeted and helped them immediately."
"My account was compromised, and I was advised by the 800 phone service rep to go into a branch immediately to sort it out. When I got there the ATM was packed, many people mask-less and coughing, no security. By the way, clients have to go through the ATM vestibule to get into the bank. Next: Through the main doors doors, there was an empty waiting area, but you could see glass offices had bankers/managers inside. I told a very young girl that my acct might have been compromised and could be a fraud case, and she told me to have a seat. After 10 mins she returned and said: “Sorry everyone is busy, they have back to back appointments, and nobody is available to speak with you.” I asked if I should wait, or could I make an appt? She said no, but I could come back if I wanted to. I told her I would never be back as I left, completely defeated and outraged. My point is this: not one manager nor banker had 30 secs to acknowledge my situation nor my very serious concern! It was on the advice of a Chase phone rep that I had gone into the branch (during the beginning of the pandemic) in the first place. The people at this branch, from the top down, need to be re-trained on professional courtesy. I would give negative stars/rating if I could."
"I have to say that I'm disappointed that with all the bad reviews this bank branch has not been able to address the shortage of staff issue. I typically stand on line for a roll of quarter if I forget to pick up downtown about 20 to 30 minutes. This is unacceptable for a Chase Branch. I asked them to increase staff especially on Saturday and they looked at me like I had ten heads. I opened an account at Citi just so I can get quarter. They are nicer and the lines are shorter. I did state that if this was in the Financial District this would never happen! I call it subtle profiling of the neighborhoods."
