"It was okay teller line always smiling and saying hello as you walk in"
"I went to the bank to withdraw $2,000 from my checking account and I was there for over 20 mins having my identity questioned. They told me that the driver’s license they have on file isn’t correct . I know the license is correct however, I gave them the driver’s again then they said my address isn’t correct . I have lived at the same address for 13 yrs and they have sent me information to said address . I have direct deposit with them . I supposed all this questioning stem from the fact that I was withdrawing $2, 000 from my checking which is my money . They even went as far as telling me they needed to contact the branch that I opened the account which is over 20 yrs ago . Can you imagine being treated like a criminal. Why would I go to a bank with false identification to withdraw money ?! It’s so sad and disheartening that customers get treated this way. I didn’t plan on writing this review but on 9/2/23 I went to another valley branch and got treated poorly so I decided to bring awareness to the public ."
"The worst service I ever had with banks. Do not go to clerk Sharon, she doesn’t know what she is doing, takes for two or more hours to open an account., she is typing very slow with mistakes… horrible service"
"7/15/23. I wanted to post a thank to Marcelo at Valley national bank. My husband and l had some questions about a transaction we wanted done. Marcelo took the time to explain to us what we need to do, and just when and how. I posted previously about how frustrated I was with one of the staff. I have promised myself to leave kind words when we are treated well. We have been long time customers with Valley and we appreciated the respect we were shown by Marcelo and his patients. Thank you again. ‐--‐--------------------------------------- 7/8/23 My husband and I have been with Valley Bank for over 30 years. We have always respected the job the Valley Staff does, and in return we have always been grateful for the respect we have been shown as their customer. This past weekend we went in to speak about rolling over one of our CD's one of the valley staff Sharon Wilson called us over, she already had a tone to her voice that made us feel we were a bother to her. We told we wanted to roll over a bond- our mistake as it was a CD, she made sure to keep correcting us. In the past we would come into the bank and if one of our CD's were maturing a Valley officer would have us fill out paperwork on the maturing CD, we would sign and on the date of maturity the bank would process and send us the receipt, without issue. Sharon Wilson would not, and it wasn't the fact she wouldn't assist it was the way she was toward us, rude and very quick. I have learned something from this experience in her rudeness, as you see I am typing this to inform you of our very unpleasant experience, but I need to also praise the staff that go out of their way to help us and I will from now for there are a lot of good people at Valley, Sharon Wilson should watch and learn how to treat ALL people with respect and patience. Thank for allowing me to share this with you. Today I give Sharon Wilson a low 2 stars and that in one star too many."
"It's the worst bank I have dealt with during my 60 years of life. You can't find anyone to address your concerns if a problem happens. The staff in the branch do not know, and they refuse to give you phone number or email of higher employees who can help. In other words, you can't get nothing from them. They only take your money, after that they don't care about you. Any bank, I mean it; any bank, would be better than Valley Bank. I knew this long time ago, and I didn't chose to bank with them. They, unfortunately, bought Oritani bank That I had my mortgage with."
