"Coal + Ice was easily the most powerful climate exhibit I've seen yet."
"There is a fabulous exhibit running now, which is ending August 11th called Coal and Ice. It is a comprehensive study of the two elements and climate change. Don't miss it. Cafe Leo in the museum has an eclectic menu from which to choose an interesting item. The chicken curry wrap with arugula was delicious."
"Yesterday I visited the Asia Society and Museum. With my library card I went to the Culture Pass website and got a free reservation. Otherwise I would have had to pay $10 as a senior. Coal + Ice is the exhibit on right now till August 11th. Dealing with climate change, this exhibit was frightening and depressing. One room had a strange aroma and I wondered if I would get nightmares at night. Pre-covid this museum had beautiful Asian art which is now in storage. I far preferred seeing that as unused to visit this museum years ago. Times change."
"It's a somewhat small but interesting place to visit here on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Admission is free on Fridays (although donations are accepted). This is a fine place to bring visitors. There is an exhibit until August 2024 pertaining to the effects of coal mining and climate change as a result of the use of coal."
"Coal + Ice Phenomenal. It makes you think It makes you feel And hopefully act to do more about climate hangs on personal level, then with your dollar, then with your mind and effort!"
