"Thank you for your service America is the greatest country in the world. Thank you for everything you do to serve and protect this country thank you military veterans for the sacrifices you have made for this country you will never be forgotten the American flag means everything. God bless God loves you and God bless America The greatest country on earth also, we have an amazing sheriff. God bless our sheriff officers."
"Oh.....BooHoo! A fire truck makes too much noise at all times of the day and night. It's called activating your emergency equipment enroute to a call. No matter what time of day or night, if a pedestrian walks out in front of you or a car pulls out of an alley and you hit them without your emegency equipment activated.....guess who gets hung out to dry. Don't like the noise? Move to the country."
"These guys literally just love making as much racket as possible at all hours. 5am on a Sunday, zero traffic, they will have full siren and horn non stop as they circle the block. Super rude firefighters as well. Totally shameful how these guys run this fire house."
"I’ve had about 3 interactions with 3 different fire fighters from this department. They’re very rude and I honestly feel like some of them are racists. I asked one of them a question and he looked at me as if I was stupid and spoke to me as if I should’ve known the answer. I’ve also gotten into an argument with one of the top guys there over a parking spot. I was literally parked for a minute (I was in the car) and he started cursing me out and took a picture of my registration all because I told him to ask nicely next time. “I’m not asking, I’m telling you”. They’re just a bunch of angry white men who probably get cheated on lol."
"Frightening. They knocked on our door at 2am and said they had been knocking on doors for the past 2 hours. Not true. First knock was someone claiming to be con edison. Always was told not to open the door without knowing who was there. When we did not open the door a firefighter came to door. We opened it and he was nasty and rude. Is this what my taxes pay for? No one should be talked to the way he spoke to us. Shame on NYFD."
