"I needed to apply for a new passport. Waht an ordeal this ended up being! The people at Gracie on East 85th were beyond rude and useless from the get-go. After my application, which was mailed from Gracie, was lost by USPS no one at Gracie was willing to help me trace it. But what was most frustrating and unacceptable was their rudeness. Literally screaming at me and other costumers. And the supervisor at Gracie was always "out for lunch" or on vacation! A friend told me to to go and re-apply at the Lenox Hill post office for a better experience. And that it was! A very nice teller at the passport window by the name of Tedaca Jones was very knowledgeable and informed me that I could try again by sending an old passport this time (as my most recent one had been lost). Everyone else had told me to send all sorts of other important documents like birth certificate which I was afraid they would lose again. In addition to giving me the correct advice Tedaca patiently helped me fill out the application and advised me of the mailing options. And today I received my new passport. Thank you Tedaca and keep up the good work."

"The associate of cashier N8 who is constantly using his phone during working hours is absolutely rude and disrespectful to customers.Cashier N4 is not far from him. The man with glasses of N8 yelled at customers like if we were in jail. He does like to be bothered while he is texting and eating during working hours.He does not have customer service skills to be there. The way he calls out customers is nasty, loud and obnoxious. He should be on the streets carting in and out boxes instead of sitting there for a paycheck and benefits. I requested to complete my service with another employee until TANIA provided me a hight qualified & professional service. Good service only with her, Cashier N2 at 11:00 am"

"Greatest post office.i visited 9 post office before I choose Lennox Hill post office on east 70th street.The customer service are top notch.The staff are phenomenal and the check out process is lightening fast.5stars is insufficient.
