"0/10 experience the staff were incredibly unhelpful and rude, especially one woman (not sure of her name). I tried to ask for assistance with choosing the proper size box for my item and she wouldn’t help me and yelled at me when I selected the wrong package. Don’t come here unless your item is already packed up and ready to go."
"This review is solely about one staff member, May (possibly Mae, unless she lied about her name but she was on duty at about 3:30 pm today. I live on the block. I’m in the post office all the time. I know many of the staff inside and outside of the post office and I have NEVER been spoken to the way I was just spoken to EVER. First off, I was dropping off a package which she printed for me. I have always taken a picture of the package so that I have proof that the package was mailed and in good condition. No one has ever said anything about it and has always said “sure go ahead”. She said that I could not because their clerk number was on the package. So? Didn’t make any sense to me but now I understand why. She clearly didn’t want me to be able to ID her because she was not wearing any name identification and when I asked for her name, she sat their with an f-you look on her face and was clearly not going to give it to me. So then I asked her coworker if she could tell me the girl’s name. At that point the same clerk shouted her name at me so that the entire room could hear her name “May”. At no point did I raise my voice. This girl had an attitude off the bat. She was too busy talking to her coworker and on her phone to even call me over when I was standing in line. This is professionalism?? I didn’t know you could get paid to chitchat all day while customers stand there waiting. I only wish I had used my camera to record how she spoke to me. And since I know so many people at this location, I’ll be letting them all know too"
"i don’t deserve to have people displace their anger and frustrations onto me for nothing. i didn’t say anything and yet i was treated as if i did something wrong or was being rude to them. they didn’t even give me a piece of tape for my letter and said i needed to buy a small roll for $3.99. i understand that there are customers who are disrespectful and will make you feel frustrated but i don’t deserve to have that anger at them directed towards me. i’m sorry that they are dealing with these customers though, and i know the united states postal service as a whole is very understaffed and underfunded."
"I was in this post office 2/22/24 around 12pm and actually I was alone in the line. Unfortunately, young ladies who work there are extremely rude and busy with watching the videos on their phones. No one pays attention to the customers. I had to come to the window and ask to help me! Because I understood they were totally ignoring me.The lady was really unhappy that I interrupted her with watching her videos and told me YOU SHOULD STAND THERE AND WAIT UNTIL I CALL YOU. In fact this is not the first time I was faced with disrespect from those people. They may yell at you and behave like I came to their place and want something from them. AFWULL!! I really wish the staff finally was taught good manners!!!"
"Since my last review the US Postal service have gone down dramatically in efficiency, quality, speed, accuracy, concern about the quality of their service. I have been in many 3rd world countries w here the Past Offices looked better, more by to be to date and cleaner that in NYC. Also nationwide, what used to be the pride of be the nation has become an ultra inefficient service riddled by lost packages, deliveries 3-4-5 days later than promised, outright theft while in PO hands. The speed with which the service has gone down seems almost premeditated, since so much inefficiency cannot be attributed to suddenly incompetent postal workers who up to now have been doing an excellent job!"
