"Alright.. What a disaster. Flight was cancelled shortly before taken off before it was assigned to American Airlines. I was told to go to United when I tried to check in and did a back and forth about 4 times with airline placing fault on the other. It turns out that United booked me on several flights that were overbooked and unavailable. I was looking at as much as 24 hours on the delay, far away from home with no car, BUT THEN! I MET HER! After some fighting with United, I was sent to Air Canada where I met Enfys. From the moment I went to the service desk, she was helpful. Once she heard the 3 hours of running around I was doing, she was determined to help me. Like my lawyer, she went to bat for me. Even after being told a few times there was nothing she could do, she finally made it happen. Couple with a $15 meal voucher and smile, she made it to where I was originally supposed to arrive to my destination! Not only did she save United, American Airlines and Expedia from a fury angry me, she made Air Canada appear first class. ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service! Thank you so much again Enfys! Edit: Right there with her was Eduardo who also worked diligently to figure out the problem to prevent other passengers from suffering the same inconvenience than I did. He was also there for the boarding process, while keeping the same positive, friendly Attitüde. They both took a pretty nightmarish situation in terms of airport experiences and left me instead with plenty of positives."
"Air Canada is an unfeeling airline. They must just be totally inefficient and yet very arrogant company. They chide you while speaking in french so you supposedly wont understand. They caused us to miss our connecting flight and thus our cruise ship. Their staffs in Montreal are as robotic and without any empathy at all:( This airline company must be avoided at all cost. Imagine I have to wait for 30 days just to get a delay letter from them for insurance purposes:( Don’t bother calling their tech support. You will be answered by just another robot, cold and without any emotion. If I can give 0 stars, I would. First time to fly with them and what a horrible, horrible, not to mention traumatic experience. Never again even if they are the last plane to leave to nowhere. You will just be disappointed and frustrated."
"My flight was delayed from New York City to Montreal and so I missed my plane to Frankfurt. Though the very nice ladies for the desk tried to fix everything so that I could fly 3-4 hours later, I missed my meeting at work and had to buy new train tickets. The intercontinental flight was all ok. I have nothing much to complain there. The "local" flight from NYC to YUL was not the best. First there was the hard landing and some components / interior sidewall and top panelling in the plane was not fixed or falling off. We had a 3 hours delay in NYC which made me miss my connecting flight to Germany and I missed my meeting in Germany and had to rebuy a new train ticket… I only requested the airline to reimburse me for the tickets and they refused… not so coll"
"Three things I did not like. No free wifi. Other airlines like JetBlue give you free wifi. Second, you have to watch a whole bunch of commercials at the beginning of the flight. Final thing, other passengers are playing loud rap music on their phones speaker on my flight. The staff seem to allow this and should not as it is a disturbance to other passengers."
"ZERO STARS! ALL FOUR segments of my trip to Europe and back (new York to Rome via Montreal) were late (between 40 mins to 3 hours and half). Plus they are the only airline that always checks your carry on and they had Check me my very normal roller all the times . Final touch it took forever to deliver the baggage to us. Do not fly with them. Read the review. They are the new Alitalia and hope they follow them in bankruptcy"
