"I want to say thank you for your service and everything you do. We have our own battles in our life that we have to fight but you fought battles for this country, so did the Marines, so did the army I stand firmly behind our sheriff officers, our military and everyone who stands behind the flag, thank you for your service. We all have battles but with God. And truth and love we can overcome those battles. God bless."
"FDNY STATION REVIEW ———————————— Location: East Harlem Company’s: Engine-53 & Truck-43 ———————————— Engine-53: Year: 2020 Manufacturer: Seagrave Company Motto: El Barrio’s Bravest Ladder-43 Year: 2012 Manufacturer: Ferrara Company Motto: El Barrio’s Bravest ———————————— Engine 53/Ladder 43 Review The guys at Engine 53/Ladder 43 are amazing. They are welcoming to people who have questions and who want to see the rigs. They also have the most amount of shirts, patches, and other clothing to buy that I've seen. The theme to the firehouse is the military. Many of their shirts show this. A fun fact is Navy Seal Lt. Michael F Murphy wore the station patch during his tour in Afghanistan. Lt. Murphy was the first person to be awarded the Medal of Honor from the war in Afghanistan. He was featured in the book and movie "The Lone Survivor." Come visit Engine 53 Ladder 43 on 1836 3rd Avenue, between 101st and 102nd Streets. (Credits to wikimapia for the front of the station photo)"
