"I was here as a concert audience member. They host lovely visiting music groups here. I can't comment on the experience of being a church member."
"Reverent and “nosebleed high” yet not pompous. Rector very welcoming. Stunningly beautiful church but still somehow homey. If I lived in NYC, this would be the place to go."
"Historic Anglo Catholic Episcopal Church in decline. Parish lacks sufficient resources to maintain. Very friendly parishioners who are tight-knit and welcoming to Southerners on travel in Upper West side Christmas 2018. Enjoyed my worship experience very much. Highly recommend."
"Soup kitchen is always great - usually a PBnJ sandwich and a tuna salad sandwich, plus a homemade soup. People on Saturday line up starting around 3:45, and distribution starts at 4. Seconds sometimes available after everyone has their 1st meals. No requirements, and the volunteers at the service are *so* friendly (and not in a condescending way.) Kudos to these wonderful people."
"Take out soup kitchen extremely reliable they were open and serving great soup and sandwiches ( Pb& j and tuna) during a hurricane and snow storm when all the other soup kitchens were closed ! You don't have to be homeless to be served. Saturdays between 3:30 and 4 PM and Mondays at 7pm ( don't be late on Mondays because the whole affair is over in 5 to 10 minutes!)"
