"The woman who answers the phone was unbelievably rude and condescending. I asked a question and she said “I think you just answered your question.” I’ve never applied for a flying license before, she didn’t need to be rude."
"I do not recommend! Disgusting place! Dirty, very stuffy, not professional, the doctor is not a professional, does not know what he is saying and doing! Ready to vote to revoke the license of such a doctor! Don't go there, you'll only get problems! And all the more you will pay in cash, you will not be given other options, which is no longer correct! Don't waste your time and money! Trust me this place is terrible!"
"NOTAM!!! PILOTS BEWARE! Personal experience, doctor disqualified me with no explanation and no reason. I have Celiac’s disease (which means I can’t eat wheat products, not a life threatening allergy, I just don’t feel good after). The doctor seemed unaware of what the condition is, asking if I had Crohn’s or Irritable Bowel Syndrome multiple times. After sitting in his dirty, disorganized, overly hot office for an hour I was informed I had failed my medical, when I asked why (concerning right?! Do I have a dodgy heart? Are my lungs gonna give out? Am I going blind?) he said I had an undefined OTHER condition. When pressed further he said again the computer said I have OTHER and the FAA would have to review it. It’s been 40 days, I’ve lost my ability to fly, I have no idea of the next steps, and no idea if I will ever get in the air again. I am struggling daily to fix this issue. I also have no idea if I do indeed have a REAL disqualifying condition which could impact or END my life. I’m going to other, more qualified doctors now to look into this, of course. This doctor should not be practicing. He should be retired, by himself or any licensing board that can remove him. Obviously he has only a basic to NO grasp on any condition that has come into knowledge since he graduated from medical school (from the dusty, worn, filthy certificates on the wall, I’m guessing at least half a century ago) and is making no effort to update his knowledge. Besides his lack of personal improvement (to his professional knowledge or the condition of the hovel he calls an office) he’s also betraying his Hippocratic Oath. He has a patient standing in front of him, asking if he has a life-threatening or dangerous condition and his response is to say it’s out of his hands and the FAA has to review it? No, the response is, you have this condition and need to get it looked at or you may die or injure others OR you’re perfectly healthy, I just don’t know how to use the FAA computer systems correctly and I hit the wrong button and now you can’t fly anymore. I’m keeping your $300, sucker… I’m just appalled that doctors like this are allowed to keep practicing. I’m even more shocked that a reputable organization like Mount Sinai would associate themselves with such a pathetic practice. I cannot warn you enough. Wave off. Go around. Find an alternate. Your license and livelihood depend on you NOT going to this… place. That’s the only thing I can call it. It is a place, with longitude and latitude coordinates but that is all. BEWARE!!!"
"It's the best place for your AME! easy scheduling over the phone, nice people really Knowledgeably, answering all my questions, and quick exem. As my first time making my medical, I was a little worried, but when I got there, I was welcomed by the doctor with a big smile and good words, making me so relieved. Definitely recommend"
"Great doctor, got me in and out quickly, ahead of my appointment. Even noticed that I was over-qualified for the third class AME that he bumped me up to first class. Being new I had no idea how to approach that, he handled it for me. Looking forward to renewing next year."
