The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
About the Business
Welcome to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 360 Lenox Avenue, Manhattan, New York. As a place of worship, we invite you to join us in a community dedicated to spiritual growth and support. Our church services are designed to be welcoming and enriching for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Church service times and schedules vary, so please call us to find the specific times for our congregation. Our services follow a consistent 2-hour format: one main meeting for everyone, known as the sacrament meeting, and another class tailored to age groups or general interests. During the sacrament meeting, you will experience uplifting songs, prayers, and sermons delivered by members of the congregation, as well as the opportunity to partake in the sacrament, or Communion.
If you're visiting for the first time, rest assured that you are not alone. Many of our members attend by themselves, but you can also request to have local missionaries accompany you. There's no pressure to participate; you can simply sit back and enjoy the service or engage as you feel comfortable.
We encourage you to wear attire that makes you feel comfortable. While many attendees choose to wear "Sunday best" such as button-down shirts, ties, slacks, skirts, and dresses, the most important thing is that you feel at ease.
Join us to connect with others in your community and become part of a network of supportive individuals. Explore inspiring videos and articles, sign up for daily Bible verses, and discover stories about Christ's life. Learn how simple spiritual experiences can help you build a closer relationship with Jesus and lead a happier life.
Attending church each Sunday offers a peaceful break from the fast-paced daily routine. Worship with us at 360 Lenox Avenue to reflect, strengthen your spiritual connections, and focus on Jesus. Our community strives to be more Christlike and to learn from one another. We offer classes for both children and adults, ensuring there is something for everyone, starting from 18 months old.
No matter your life situation, we believe that Christ can be a source of strength. Connect with us on social media and see how being a part of our community can benefit you and your family. We look forward to welcoming you to our congregation.

"Very nice people and a peaceful environment to experience again. What a Church is mainly about - finding peace."
"While I lived in Manhattan for six years, this was the chapel I worshipped in most Sundays. So when I came back to visit with some friends, I wanted to go back to this place that feels like home. Just as when I lived here, this is a place open to members and visitors alike. Stop in any Sunday to learn more about our Savior Jesus Christ and to feel the peace that drawing closer to Him brings. There are stairs and an elevator that will take you to the second floor where the main worship service takes place. In this hour long service we pray, listen to messages prepared by and given by members of the congregation, sing hymns, and partake of the sacrament (bread and water blessed and passed in remembrance of our Savior's atoning sacrifice on our behalf). Second hour services vary from week to week and include classes for children, youth and adults on the upper floors of the building. The lessons shared here are also prepared and given by members of the congregation. Throughout the week you may also find missionaries and members at the building teaching lessons and having mid-week activities."
