"Great park with soccer and cricket fields , picnic area and a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline. You can enjoy a stroll , jog or bike ride around the park. There is a parking lot and bathrooms."
"Beautiful park with calming views. Nice place to sit and chill out. Nice breeze in summer evenings…"
"We decided to take the ferry as far as it would go and ended up having a lovely spring day walking this waterfront park. The park features various fields for soccer and cricket as well as picnic areas. Never found a bathroom but maybe there is one. I can see how in the dead of summer this park gets a lot of visitors so keep that in mind."
"Its a good place the for day time. But leave before sunset, because the mosquitoes there are insane. But you can also experience some fire flies at night time if you go south following the trail."
"Great view under the Whitestone Bridge. People can be seen fishing along the trails to the perfect view of the NYC Skyline right under the bridge. Along the way is also the NYC Ferry dock. Multiple Soccer fields, a couple baseball fields, a nice trail and walking/riding path as well as plenty of picnic/cookout space. Not a huge park but it's calm and clean so you can circle many times if exercise is your goal. Only 4 stars because of the small parking lot and extremely limited street parking. As long as Parks Dept workers are there, the bathroom will be open. Sincerely one of the Bronx' local hidden gems."
