"Useless, a waste of our tax dollars, consider closing this place, because it adds zero value to our communities!"
"He's done NOTHING, absolutely nothing for the area of Hamilton Heights. He's supposed to be the Annex for distributing Pantry food from West Side Campaign Against Hunger on the Upper West Side. In reality it's nothing like the high-quality food that's distributed to the residents on the Upper West Side, where WSCAH is located. It's the garbage that's distributed at the Emma Bowen Mental Health Center on Amsterdam and West 145th Street. I went to his office once on a designated pantry day and they wanted to give me a lot of old root vegetables that you could see and feel were way past their prime. I politely told them I didn't need any yams, potatoes and onions because I had gotten those things from another pantry. But, when I asked for 2 CANS OF SARDINES instead, they didn't want to give them to me! I'm not going to begin to talk about how he sold out the poorest, most disenfranchised residents politically to some of these less than scrupulous landlords in the area!"
"Big fan, he has been putting the community first for some time now and it shows."
"Mark prefers to cater to disgusting rent-a-car corporations instead of the working class. He turned the public parking in West Harlem into an active parking lot reserved exclusively for Enterprise and Zipcar. He surrounded low-income areas with a ring of traffic, noise, and non-stop pollution. Mark your calendars and vote him out of the office on September 12th!"
