Located at 890 Garrison Avenue in the vibrant heart of The Bronx, New York, Iridescent Science Studio is more than just a museum; it’s a hub of innovation and empowerment. Our mission is to inspire and empower the world’s underrepresented young people, especially girls, through the fields of engineering and technology, nurturing them to become tomorrow’s innovators and leaders.
At Iridescent, we believe in changing the face of innovation. Our programs are designed to support girls, children, and their families in identifying challenges within their communities and developing technology-based solutions. We are committed to fostering the skills necessary for lifelong learning and problem-solving.
Our flagship program, Technovation, is a global technology entrepreneurship initiative specifically for girls, providing them with the tools and opportunities to create, innovate, and lead. Additionally, our AI Family Challenge invites families to dive into the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, encouraging them to collaboratively solve community problems and understand the workings of the world around them.
Since our inception in a single classroom in 2006, Iridescent Science Studio has expanded its reach, impacting communities worldwide. Our dedication to empowering youth and promoting gender equality in technology has been recognized with the prestigious Women4Technology – Industry Leadership Award.
