"Really needs an update. Same cars that they had 20+ years ago when I was a kid. Track is really overgrown to the point it was running up against the cars felt risky and shakey honestly... cool way to see the animals with what they make in profit its about time they bring it up to date or at a minimum upkeep the track better."
"Riding the Wild Asia Monorail at the Bronx Zoo is an absolute delight. The relaxed journey allows you to unwind while soaking in the breathtaking views of the natural habitats and exotic animals. As you glide along the track, the educational experience comes alive, providing insights into the diverse ecosystems and wildlife conservation efforts. The unique angle from the monorail offers unparalleled perspectives, bringing you closer to magnificent creatures like elephants, tigers, and more. It's a mesmerizing encounter with nature that combines relaxation, education, and awe-inspiring sights, making it a must-do experience for both animal enthusiasts and curious minds."
"Worth the wait and the line moves along at a good pace. The tour is guided along the Bronx river . You will see many species of hooves mammals ; deer, goats and horses from around the world. If you have a watchful eye you may see a tiger . The elephants and the hippos are some of the favorites."
"This less than 20 min ride is a must go in the zoo. You get to see a bunch of animals in the habitats from a monorail train. The driver showcases the animals really well and makes the ride relaxing and educational. Very popular so make this the first stop and go as early as possible to avoid the long line."
"Taking the monorail is a lovely experience and offers a different perspective of the Bronx Zoo. It is fun to suspend belief for the ride and imagine you are traveling throughout the jungles traveling over the river, and seeing animals in the wild. Even if the line is looking when you get there, it moves quickly and you can pretend you are explorers!"
