Reviews
"Love it here! Playground, bbq area, big grassy hill for picnics, basketball and volleyball courts. Also a court for handball. At the end of the park there is Alexander Hamilton’s house so it’s a fun little historical house tour. There’s a lot of stairs so I recommend the elderly to enter the park at around 135th to avoid the stairs then walk through the lower bbq areas"
"You can do stairclimbing workouts here without even realizing it. Great big meadow to hang out in and be social. But also... Lots of good little places to...relax...and be alone without having to worry about everyone invading your space, if u get my point. Now that it's summer, all the greenery has grown in and it's a lot more private should you wish to spend time alone away from the crowds and noise. Being above the main road, it's easy to escape the bustle of the city here."
"Underrated park to have a cute picnic! Warning there are tons of stairs this park is pretty vertical compared to most. Lots of cute tucked away areas. The bathrooms were closed early when we went so keep that in mind."
"The park presents an expansive area conducive to serene ambulation or running. Its picturesque environment contributes to a tranquil atmosphere for decompression. In the presence of newly fallen snow, the landscape transforms into an enchanting realm; conversely, verdant periods bestow upon it the essence of a tranquil woodland. The locale is welcoming to canine companions, offering a designated area for social engagement or the option for leashed strolls alongside their owners."
"Lovely park with a dog run. Never too busy, except on some very nice days in the summer. It's relatively well maintained, but there has been some construction going on in one section for more than half a year. Lots of volunteer work, though, which helps keep the park looking nice."
