"Perfect walk, the only thing I would've enjoyed more is if it had been longer"
"Great little park with bike lanes, walking paths and places to sit. There is a basketball court and outdoor gym. Too many feral cats ! They disrupt the wildlife here . Bird lovers can see many shore birds and song birds. You will love to take a walk and see some wildlife right in the Bronx ! I went on a long walk with binoculars and saw 21 species of birds in one evening !"
"I mean its somewhere to walk. Not exactly the best area of NYC for nice outdoor spaces so you take what you can get. People leave their trash throughout ALL the time even though there are garbage cans. Not a terrible spot to bird watch; I even saw a rabbit with her babies once."
"Adjacent to Soundview ferry sits this amazing scenery // place of relaxation. Here you can view the Whitestone bridge, soundview ferry coming in and out of dock and experience the culture(s) that exist at the doorsteps of this amazing park!"
"This is where they started up the ferry to Manhattan. We took a walk to see the new ferry stop and it's absolutely beautiful the sights. They have the schedule up for you to see and check which time would fit your schedule. People at the dock to help you on & off the ferry and a machine to purchase your tickets right there. Very convenient. If you want to take your bike it's only a dollar extra."
