"Woman at window was nice and friendly, line was a bit long but moved fast and everyone was patient."
"I work nearby and needed to mail something important today, a weekday around 10:30 a.m. There were a couple customers in there, but no line. The lady at the counter (didn't catch her name unfortunately) was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. No small talk, just business. Exactly how I like it. I was out within 3 or 4 minutes."
"Honestly, I usually go to the USPS downtown Manhattan. I came here because I needed to urgently return something. The staff doesn't have anything in order. They allows customers to skip the line which causes huge arguments and the line is completely long. To avoid any arguments go somewhere else. This place should have been shut down along time ago"
"Worst customer service experience I've had in years. Surprised to see so many people complimenting the staff—I'll give this location the benefit of the doubt and assume the woman working there today was a new hire. Incredibly rude, insulted customers in front of other customers. Kept complaining about how "customers like these" (i.e. me) hold up the line when I asked if she could print out a shipping label, when in reality she was holding up the line by....making weird side comments instead of just doing her job. A simple "Put your package on the scale, close the scale door, and please fill out this paper with both sender and recipient address" would have cut the interaction time down to a few seconds instead of five miserable minutes. She was so unpleasant that I said "You don't need to be so rude!" as I filled out the shipping address...hope she heard and took it to heart. As someone who's worked in customer service before, there are a million ways to be miserable in your job without lashing out at other people."
"This is a hole in the wall compared to other USPS locations. So i don't know why other reviewers here are exhorting they get more clerks in there. LoL. They usually have two clerks at any given time, and they are very nice people. It's always the same 2 or three clerks. The line can stretch out the door, but you have to take into account that this is a tiny place. Simple rule of thumb is to go first thing in the morning to avoid the lines. Also expect long lines at the beginning of the month if you go in the middle of the day (busiest time of the day there). Most people around here are old school and buy their USPS money orders here for their rent payments. But again, hassles are avoidable if you go like 5 or so minutes before it opens. Easy enough."
