"GET A PARCEL DROP!!!!! It’s so simple and would make a ton of people’s lives way easier. It’s so ridiculous that after all these years they don’t have an official drop, you just have to throw your package in an open window and either hope it gets picked up or bug another employee while they’re dealing with customers. I try to avoid this place at all costs. There was one mailman who actually cared here and then he left for a better route with an office that treated him better."
"They don’t have anything, can’t do anything, and will laugh at you for even asking them to do something that every post office should be able to do. Peak of incompetence."
"I went here to overnight a deed for my mother who is on hospice and most likely will not make it for longer than 36 to 48 hours. I was told the overnight shipping does not exist and it would get there Saturday (it is Tuesday). I said I need my document back and she told me to “stop playing games”. My moms death is not a game. You all should be so ashamed of your customer service."
"sad but true. i love my little post office on W 158th. i never look forward to this one. there are systemic failures here. the manager needs to go and start fresh. recently they lost package (as they have done in the past with other packages). sent email they had it. i went to retrieve, was there for an hour while they couldn't find it. asked to speak with manager. waited half hour only to be then told he was on the phone and couldn't come out. was told they would call me about package. never did. the whole time i watched one of the employees sit at his window and hold people in line while he was texting away on his phone...multiple times...between every waiting customer! but i did NOT find the employee i dealt with rude at all. she was lovely and tried to help. and the woman running the passports was very helpful. i had plenty of time to observe!"
"Two weeks waiting for my passport appointment only to find out when i arrived that the person in charge of passports was not there and nobody knew if she would even work that day. Someone came up to the window and his only advice was to “make another appointment”.."
