"Joseph Yancey Track is the perfect track for all of NYC. Though it has aged gracefully and needs to be repaved, the track is an absolute essential for the neighborhood. The Department of Recreation and the Department of Sanitation keep the park clean and maintained throughout the year (rain, sleet or snow). Even if you are not exercising you can watch basketball games, football games, track meets, etc. I can honestly say that this was one of the best additions added to the Bronx and a great use of space of the old Yankee Stadium location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to exercise or just spend time outside."
"When you enter the track a since of competition and well being comes into ones soul then you start running and realize that it's so wonderful to have a park in the community that you can run and exercising in also YANKEE STADIUM is across the street. Awesome to bring all ages to the park for family fun."
"The track needs a little maintenance. But it's location is ideal and very spacious with restroom access. There's a kid playground a Soccer/baseball field few step away from the track. A little gym nearby as well."
"Great for exercise! I have been coming here semi regularly during my runs in the morning. Very relaxed spot to get a morning workout in. Workout bars are located further behind the track for those who want."
